Canadian Firm To Offer Asbestos Course

One of the largest environmental, health, and safety firms in Canada is scheduled to offer a three day course on controlling asbestos, which is designed to cover a number of areas.

Asbestos is a substance which was once widely used in a number of ways, including in building and construction, and very stringent rules and regulations are now in place with regards to this substance in buildings as well as in products.

The course is going to be offered by Pinchin Environmental, and officials have stated that openings for the course are filling up fast. The course is entitled ‘Asbestos Control in Buildings and Industry’ and is designed to aid contractors, builders, building owners, and site inspectors. The course will cost around $1200 per person.

The course will cover a number of areas including identification of this hazardous substance, determining the appropriate actions to be taken, putting the necessary measures into place, and inspection of completed work.
