Asbestos exposure and regulations have always been topics that have suffered when it comes to research and awareness. Many people have complained in the past because so little is given to this topic in terms of awareness, particularly in light of the number of lives this exposure takes and the expected rise in cancer cases caused through asbestos exposure.
Over recent years, various groups and seminars have worked to provide increased awareness to the public in relation to asbestos exposure, what the dangers are, and what can be done about it. Although many new bills and amendments have been passed both in the United States and Europe, many companies were still concerned about the lack of information provided to them with regards to new regulation and asbestos laws.
The UK and Scotland are now making a move to rectify this situation by arranging a variety of seminars for the benefits of companies that want to find out more about asbestos regulations. The seminars are being targeted at companies in England and Scotland at the moment, and it is hoped that their success will see them being offered to companies in other parts of the world.
Four locations in the UK have been identified for seminars to start with, and further locations will be arranged after this time. It is hoped that companies can benefit in a variety of ways from attending the seminars and finding out all about up to date asbestos regulations.
