Dr. Lynn D Wilson

Dr. Lynn D. Wilson specializes in skin cancers, lung cancer, head and neck cancer, and cutaneous lymphoma. He conducts research and clinical work in these areas. Dr. Wilson received his Masters of Public Health from the Yale University School of Medicine. In 1986, he graduated with distinction. George Washington University School of Medicine awarded him his medical degree in 1990. After completing his medical degree, he completed his internship at Yale Hospital in New Haven in Internal Medicine. At the Yale New-Haven Hospital, he completed his Residency in Therapeutic Radiology.

Dr. Wilson has several faculty appointments in his list of accomplishments. He has served cancer patients in the following roles:

  • Assistant Professor of Yale University Department of Therapeutic Radiology
  • Instructor at Yale University Department Therapeutic Radiology
  • Assistant Professor of the Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Dermatology
  • Assistant Professor of the Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Surgery
  • Vice Chairman and Clinical Director of Yale University School of Medicine’s Department of Therapeutic Radiology
  • Dermatology Residency Training Program Director at Department of Therapeutic Radiology

Dr. Wilson’s lists of memberships are also extensive. The list includes the following memberships:

  • American Board of Radiology (ABR)
  • National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)
  • American Board of Radiation Oncology (ABRO)

Dr. Wilson has received a number of awards in his field. Some of the prestigious awards include:

  • Cancer Society Clinical Oncology Career Development Award
  • Honored as one of America’s Top Doctors (2007)
  • Honored as one of America’s Top Doctors for Cancer (2005-2007)
  • Honored by New York Magazine as Best Doctor (2005-2007)

Dr. Wilson also serves patients at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospital Community Cancer Center in New London, CT. His numerous awards reflect the excellence of his work in the field of cancer.
